We’d like to introduce you to WATTAGE – Tate Watts

What are you most proud of when it comes to your brand or artistry?
I’m really proud to be a part of the growth of our local production company and community. From working promo/operations at small format shows all the way to full production tours with chart-topping global-level artists.

What goals are you chasing right now as an artist?
I just wanna do cool creative stuff with my friends. Staying true to myself and keeping this going out of passion for the project and community.

Any mixes, tracks, or recent releases you’d like people to hear?
Stay tuned! I’ve got plans to record some sets from this summer run of shows and will be releasing some new music in the fall!

What’s the most memorable crowd moment you’ve had in the Dallas scene?
The Breakaway Dallas debut bender. An absolutely gnarly weekend of the festival, pop-up DJ sets, and networking with the DFW community!

If you could back‑to‑back with any Dallas DJ tomorrow, who would it be and what genre would you play?
Dustin G! Bass / Trap / 140 / Dubstep (High energy all bangers)

Best advice you’ve gotten from another artist?
The key is having passion for your project and loving the creative process.

How do you discover new music to keep your sets fresh?
Watching livesets, online streaming platforms, networking with other artists and A&Rs.
