DJ SPOTLIGHT: LUCiTONE
We’d like to introduce you to LUCiTONE – Trevor Campbell
Tell us how you got started—what sparked your journey into DJing/producing?
I had always been the DJ at parties, just playing music off my phone, and I never really thought about getting into actual DJing until my best friend Carlos got some decks and started learning. I messed around with his setup for a bit, and about a week later I bought my own and started to learn.
What are you most proud of when it comes to your brand or artistry?
I can’t really think of what I’m most proud of, but I will say what I’m most thankful for—and that’s all the people I’ve met through playing shows and the connections I’ve made doing this. I’ve met a lot of lifelong friends in this scene, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.
What goals are you chasing right now as an artist?
To play more local shows in Dallas and to get better at promoting myself as a DJ.
Any mixes, tracks, or recent releases you’d like people to hear?
LUCiTUNES VOL. 10 – Road to Wakaan
