MAYHAM 2025: GET TO KNOW LVBEL A

by Austin Ham |

DJ SPOTLIGHT: Lvbel A

We’d like to introduce you to Lvbel A – Ayla Fedor

Tell us how you got started—what sparked your journey into DJing/producing?
I’ve always resonated with dubstep and could hear doubles (playing two songs at the same time) in my head while listening to it for over 10 years. I saw a couple of my friends mixing one day and decided it was time to learn. So I called a good friend of mine over, he gave me a crash course, let me keep his decks to practice on, and the rest is history.

What are you most proud of when it comes to your brand or artistry?
I feel most proud of myself whenever I step off the decks and get swarmed with love and support from my group of friends. They really are the reason I keep working at it.

What goals are you chasing right now as an artist?
Fine tuning mixing, staying creative, and throwing events of my own.

Any mixes, tracks, or recent releases you’d like people to hear?
I recorded my opening set for Daggz and it’s gained some traction on SoundCloud. It’s called “Lvbel A Goes Wubby”

What’s the most memorable crowd moment you’ve had in the Dallas scene?
I recently played a show on a bridge that my friends and I threw. Seeing how large of a bass community there is in Dallas and how beautifully we come together to dance and flow was extremely rewarding.

If you could back‑to‑back with any Dallas DJ tomorrow, who would it be and what genre would you play?
My good friend Silver2th. It would be a heavy dubstep/trap nonstop dance party.

Best advice you’ve gotten from another artist?
Never go somewhere with decks and sound system without your USB.

How do you discover new music to keep your sets fresh?
Lots of ways. I go to a lot of shows and festivals to see what the greats are doing. I also look through the likes on SoundCloud of artists who inspire me. Like I mentioned before, I can sometimes hear a double in my head and keep a list in my phone to try out for the next time I jump on the decks.
